Spiked Hot Apple Cider

We served this spiked cider at the Moonlight at Mistletoe event last Thursday, and so many of you have asked for the recipe we’re sharing it here. Goes great with fried pecans for turkey day! Doubles as the best ever air freshener.

Spiked Hot Apple Cider

  • 1 gallon Apple Cider

  • 1 large orange cut into 1/4” slices

  • 3 cinnamon sticks

  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves

  • 1 tablespoon whole allspice

  • 1" ginger root sliced

  • 1.5 cups bourbon

Mix everything except bourbon in large pot, bring to a boil and simmer for 2 -3 hours (or less... we did.) Remove orange slices and whole spices, add bourbon and serve warm.
